PITT SPORTS VIDEO MANAGER
I am working with the University of Pittsburgh athletics sports video services department, working directly with teams for game film, game logging, replay system operation and similar tasks.
BACHELOR'S DEGREE
I have completed my bachelor's degree in Communications Media Production with a minor in Journalism & Public Relations from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS COMMENTARY
I am working as a freelance play-by-play commentator for LHTC Media/Showcase Productions, primarily for The Wildcats Network covering Greater Latrobe high school sports.
COLUMNIST/CONTENT CREATOR
I currently provide content such as articles and podcast-style shows for the websites In-Between Media and Yinzer Crazy.
I served as sports editor for two years. Responsibilities included building and designing a six to ten page sports section twice a week. I managed the writing staff for the section and frequently wrote stories for the digital student newspaper's news, culture, sports and editorial sections.
IUP-TV SPORTS
Through IUP's Center for Media Production and Research as well as a Digital Sports Production course, I have done play-by-play and color commentary for football and basketball games, as well as courtside reporting, graphics and audio. One of our football broadcasts won a NATAS Mid-Atlantic Crystal Pillar award.
Served for three semesters as assistant station manager, overseeing day-to-day operation and working with the faculty advisor. I also served as lead producer of The Big Hit, a weekly sports talk show. I served as on-air talent and/or technical crew each week for two and a half years.
Primary organizer of Sports Talk Live, a sports radio show airing in hour-long blocks three times a week. Past experience also includes on-air talent in both sports talk and music.
